Under Mr. Khan’s direction, the Group expanded steadily into new industries:
- 1980 – Midlink Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd was established. It began with real estate development later diversifying into advertising promotional activities and consultancy services.
- 1982 – DHL Pakistan (Pvt) Ltd. established as a courier company
1983. Lifeline (Pvt) Ltd was established with a JV with Fauji Foundation for an LPG marketing and distribution company with storage and filling facilities. - 1986 – Founded Midlink Technical Services to provide engineering support to the oil and gas sector, becoming a leading services company within the LPG industry.
- 1992 – Introduced environmentally responsible energy solutions by pioneering Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) for automotive applications through ECOTEC CNG (Pvt) Ltd., collaborating with SSGC for petrol and diesel fleet conversions with a dedicated CNG refueling facility.
- Expanded into diesel generator solutions, aligning international technologies with local customer needs.
- 2009 – Midlink group Inc. was incorporated in the United States. It specializes in technology and solutions that promote cleaner energy and sustainable fuel applications. The company supports the evolving energy sector through innovative approaches that enhance efficiency, environmental performance, and operational reliability.

As Vice President of the Asia Pacific Natural Gas Vehicle Association (ANGVA) since 2003 — and the longest-serving leader in that role — he has contributed significantly to regional industry growth. As Chairman of the ANGVA Safety Advisory Panel, he helped shape safety standards through analysis, collaboration, and innovation.
His leadership includes developing NGV infrastructure programs across the Middle East, Central Asia, and South East Asia, as well as serving as CNG Development Manager at Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), supporting Dubai’s modern refueling network.
A certified Alternate Fuels Specialist, Mr. Fazal Ali Khan combines engineering expertise with deep industry insight. His specialized training with Norwalk Compressors (USA) and Leobersdorfer Maschinenfabrik (Austria) strengthened his role in advancing high-pressure gas technologies and fueling systems worldwide.
From establishing Pakistan’s first LPG cylinder refurbishment plant to advancing alternative fuel adoption internationally, Mr. Fazal Ali Khan’s work reflects a commitment to practical innovation and sustainable energy solutions.
